Chef for Kids Inc

Chefs for Kids supports Nutrition education in Nevada through the University of Nevada Reno Cooperative Extension. The group works with second and third grade students in underserved areas teaching children how to make healthier lifestyle choices through nutrition, physical activity and proper food handling/hand washing. The children participate in a one-year course, once a month for 30 minutes. The organization will serve breakfast at 14 schools feeding more than 10,000 children!

Your donations support educational training, 14 breakfasts a year at Clark County Title 1 Schools, Thanksgiving meals to student and families, Christmas gift cards to student families, a Christmas Eve breakfast with gifts and Mother’s Day luncheon to the families at Shade Tree Shelter.
