Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association (CRC)

A nonprofit organization

Water runs everywhere. We believe that improving water elevates all areas of life.

What is a watershed? A watershed is an area of land that drains into a specific body of water. By caring for the land, we care for the water that runs through it.

CRC is located in Delaware and Chester counties, and is the only group solely dedicated to the conservation of Chester, Ridley, and Crum Creek Watersheds. We plant trees, host a wonderful spring streams cleanup, and educate the community about the importance of caring for the natural environment of the Chester, Ridley, and Crum Creek Watersheds.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, nearly 95% of streams in Delaware County are considered impaired, meaning our local waterways fail to meet one or more water quality standards. Together, we can change this.
