Our mission is to invest in communities through programs that build resiliency and promote self-sufficiency.

Chicano Federation serves over 35,000 families and individuals each year. We address San Diego's most critical needs by offering early childhood education opportunities, healthy meals for over 7,500 children monthly, 300 units of affordable housing, a workforce development program that has helped hundreds of women, and a community resource center that welcomes anyone who is in need of assistance.

In our 54th year, Chicano Federation is the lead advocate for equity and ensuring that the well-being of our most impacted communities is a priority in San Diego County.

With your donation, you will support the continued development of the Chicano Federation's programs, services, and resources. The Federation's goal is to address the numerous and different needs that our community members have. The families and individuals who reach out to Chicano Federation for support have needs beyond what one program can offer. Thus, the organization strives to get to know and understand individuals and families in a meaningful and holistic manner in order to be responsive to all of their needs.  This allows us to provide resources, make connections and introductions, but most importantly, be a one-stop resource for our communities and ensure that individuals and families who turn to Chicano Federation for assistance are, in fact, getting the support they need.
