Chikara Foundation Inc

Our organization's staff has been directly impacted by high level coaches, mentors, and teachers throughout their lives. We have been shaped by their words, their encouragement, and their deep care for us as people. And now, we want to give back using the skills we've developed as athletes and coaches, with the thing's we are passionate about. We want to give the children and youth of this next generation the same opportunities we had, whether it's experiencing a sport they can excel at, a group of friends and people who will feel like family, or even just a safe place that will keep them out of harms way.

We are located in an area or Southern California that gives us easy access to some of the most at risk, dangerous places for kids to live and grow up. We see a need, and we beleve that it is one that we can satisfy. With help of course.

Our biggest challenge right now is time. Currently, our entire staff consists of coaches and athletes volunteering their time and resources to make our vision a reality. This means that our priority is raising the funds to bring one of our staff members on full time so that they can devote 100% of their time to making connections and reaching out to the surrounding communities.
