The Child Care Council of Kentucky, Inc.
(CCC) is part of a national network of non-profit Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (CCR&R).

Established in 1984, the CCC is a visible community
resource committed to offering access to affordable, quality care and education. CCC’s pledge is to promote, expand, and enhance services that improve the quality of life for children, families and early care professionals in Kentucky.

The vision of the CCC is to serve as a resource for families, children and early care professionals to create a better today and omorrow.

Services Provided:

For Child Care Professionals:

• Low cost professional development training
  on a wide range of topics,
• Low cost online training,and
• Technical assistance, support,and coordination of  training activities.

For Parents:

• Child Care Assistance* for eligible families,
• Guidelines on what to look for in choosing quality child care,
• Smartphone application, and
• A high quality website full of parental
  resources, with many links to other educational resources.

For The Community:

• Employer assistance in providing child care benefits to their employees.
• Resources for developing and maintaining the supply of quality child care.
• Outreach and educational resources on the
  importance of quality child care.
• Knowledgeable staff available to answer questions regarding early care and education.
• Specialized website dedicated to early childhood education with links to resources for parents, and child care professionals, and
• Advocate for families, children and child care providers on a local, state and national level.

*The Child Care Council of Kentucky manages an important program for parents and children in every county in Kentucky. The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)provides assistance with payment for child care on a sliding fee basis for eligible parents/guardians. The purpose of this program is to enable families to gain employment.

reputation as a well-respected leader in the field of early care and education in Kentucky. The majority of funding for CCC is provided through state contracts which are all designated dollars.
