Child Guidance Center Inc

Since 1967, Child Guidance Center has served as a leading provider of comprehensive and compassionate mental and behavioral health treatment services for children, youth, and young adults in Orange County and their families. Our team of 100+ licensed mental health professionals assist over 4,500 children and their family members annually at our four clinic locations. A majority of the families we serve are living in poverty, and many of the youth have been profoundly impacted by trauma - including abuse, neglect, community violence - or they struggling with chronic depression, and/or anxiety, or other cognitive challenges. 

Orange County Business Journal lists Child Guidance Center as one of the top 50 nonprofits in Orange County and we are grateful for our longstanding partnerships with the county of orange, and hundreds of foundations, donors, and compassionate business leaders who all believe that every child in need should have access to the very best mental health treatment available.

We are changing and saving lives at Child Guidance Center and our services have never been needed more. Mental illness and real emotional struggles are impacting our youth in record numbers, and sadly suicide remains the second lead cause of death for teens in Orange County. Together we can transform lives through the delivery of affordable and no-cost professional evidence-based mental health treatment services.
