Child Health Association of Sewickley

Child Health Association is an all volunteer women's organization engaged in charitable giving and volunteer service to improve the quality of life for children in western Pennsylvania. CHA strives to nurture the WHOLE child by granting funds to programs and services that affect children's emotional, physical, educational, cultural and recreational needs.

Since 1923, Child Health has contributed well over $4.0 million to more than 370 non-profit organizations serving children in western Pennsylvania. Child Health researches grant requests annually, visits program sites, and interviews staff. Each year Child Health gives approximately $100,000 in grants to qualified organizations that are tackling the critical issues of our modern time including autism, mental health, drug abuse, health and fitness, quality of life for children with profound disabilities; and children in at-risk living situations.
