We Need A Lift!

Our 1996 Children of Grace vehicle is worn out after 353,253 kilometers of travel through rough and rutted dirt roads in the remote villages of Uganda. The transmission is slipping, repairs are expensive and we are in constant need of a lift!  Help us buy a newer, used vehicle to serve more than 800 children in the Children of Grace sponsorship program in Uganda.

$33,000 will enable us to buy a reliable, used 4-wheel drive, all terrain vehicle to serve our ministry in the following ways: 

• Drive mentors to visit our 800 children in more than 40 schools in villages and towns surrounding Jinja, Uganda.
• Drive our nurse to the schools to conduct physical examinations of the children.
• For medical emergencies, children are transported to the CoG medical clinic or to outside clinics and hospitals.  
• The vehicle is loaded before each of the three terms with school supplies to distribute to our children at central locations in villages.
• One-hour drives to the capital city of Kampala are necessary to pick up supplies or conduct business.
• The vehicle takes supplies off-site for enrichment programs like Vacation Bible School, Girls Can retreats, and reading programs.  
• Visiting mission teams and sponsors are transported to and from the airport three hours away and to remote villages in the CoG vehicle.  

We need a safe, reliable, durable vehicle to serve and transport these precious children.
