Mission

The Children's Heart Foundation's mission is to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.

Programs

To date, The Children's Heart Foundation has supported 30 research grants across the US totaling almost $2.5 million. It is our top priority to quickly connect the money we raise to the most promising congenital heart research so that one day we can find the answers to why congenital heart defects occur and how we can prevent them from happening. Our parent resource book entitled "It's My Heart" is available in english and spanish versions and has been distributed to leading cardiologists, cardio thoracic surgeons, children's hospitals and parents of children born with congenital heart defects.
