The Childrens Hunger Project

In Brevard County, more than 50% of children utilize free and reduced-price meal programs through their schools, and although students are provided for during the week, the weekend is often unaccounted for. As a result, many kids are at risk of childhood hunger and malnutrition. The Children’s Hunger Project, Inc. (TCHP) exists to help elementary schools provide food for the weekend to as many kids as possible every week.

Fast Facts:

· The cost to feed one child per year is $150.

· Currently, 45+ schools feed children through our program.

· TCHP serves more than 2,000 food packages every week.

· Schools have 20-200+ children who need our services.
