Children's Village opened its doors in 1990 and has served over 2,000 children in crisis.

Children's Village is made up of two 8,000 sf homes set on nearly 15 acres in beautiful Coeur d'Alene ID. Each home welcomes children birth - 18 for short term or long term care. We welcome children who have been removed by their homes from the state, primarily due to abuse or neglect as well as privately placed children whose families are temporarily unable to care for them, often due to homelessness. Children in our care receive any needed medical, dental or vision care, clothing, personal hygiene items, school supplies or anything else they need. They also receive transportation to and from their school of origin if they attend school in Rathdrum, Coeur d' Alene, Post Falls, Hayden or Athol. This minimizes the disruption in their lives and allows them to maintain important friendships and connections while they navigate a difficult time in their lives. Most importantly, we offer safety, love and hope for a bright future.
