Chilkat Valley Pre-School

We have 40 years of experience providing a high-quality, pre-kindergarten program that benefits not only the individual child but the school district and the community. We welcome pre-primary school-aged children of all races, creeds, ethnic origins, and economic backgrounds.

The preschool learning experience seeks to strengthen children and their ties with their families, community, and other children. Our program offers a range of educational opportunities: music, movement, art, science, math, literacy, writing skills, outdoor time, cooperative games — and of course play.

Chilkat Valley Preschool is raising funds to move our program into a new facility. We are well on our way to reaching our initial goal of $200,000. Then, we will be positioned to use those donations to leverage large grants to help complete our new facility. We are excited that our program will have a modern facility to continue serving the young families and communities of Haines and Klukwan.

CVP is a non-profit organization that has always enjoyed the support of the community.  From parent volunteers to public funding to local business donations,  our organization is a wonderful illustration of how much the Haines Community cares about our children and our future.
