Tranquility House Domestic Violence Center

The mission of Tranquility House is to provide services and emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children. Our services are centered on safety, advocacy and empowerment. Safety, we strive to improve conditions that lead to physical, emotional and psychological harm to preserve health and well-being. Advocacy, we raise awareness and promote change on behalf of victims and their families. Empowerment, we build confidence and strength in survivors to enable them to obtain basic opportunities and maximize the quality of their lives. We strive to promote community awareness and eliminate cultural acceptance through coordinated community response, prevention & education. We envision a community that values a person’s right to be safe and free from intimate partner violence.
