Success is given many definitions.  Preston had it all.  A great job, beautiful family and home, the stars were the limit.

But gradually his dream fell apart.  As his life began to unravel, he turned to drugs and alcohol.  One morning he awoke alone.  His foggy mind reminded him that today was the day he would turn over the keys to this great home he had worked so hard for.  As he stumbled toward the kitchen, a plan formed in his troubled mind.

He looked at the gas stove.  Only a few seconds of gas would end his heartache.  As he passed the counter, his eye was caught by a folded piece of paper left there.  Distracted momentarily, he picked it up.  It was a church bulletin.  He opened it.  His eyes were caught by the words PRAYER REQUESTS and there was his name at the top.

It hit him.  Someone did care.  Someone was praying for him.  In that moment, a bridge was built between Preston and hope for change.

Little Rock has been reported as a troubled city.  But there is a message of hope that can alleviate suicide, depression, drug dependance and crime.

Christian Life Center is home to many men and women who received a message of hope.  In turn, we want to reach those desperate people in the most effective and efficient way possible.
