Mom's Pantry began with an idea to provide quality emergency food-aid to families and individuals, through dignity, hope, and love. Our desire was to provide a mostly non-perishable food response to any family or individaul who was experiencing issues with food insecurity. In Phoenix Arizona, 1 in 5 famlies live on the poverty line and nearly 1 in 4 children suffer from food insecurity. This was motivated us to find a quick and simple process to help famlies in need. On May 5th 2012, we opened our doors to Mom's Pantry. We started imediatly began to find needs and filing them as best we could. Through the generosity of hundreds of people, businesses, and schools in the area, we have provided over 250,000 meals in the past year and a half. Todate, over 9,000 families depend on our support and the number continues to grow.

Through the generosity of our umbrella nonprofit, 100% of our operating costs are underwritten. This allows every dollar donated to Mom's Pantry to go directly back to providing food to the community.
