Then mission of Christian Youth Theater of Indianapolis is ‘building character, one stage at a time.’


Through our classes, workshops, summer camps and productions, our organization allows children ages 4-18 to explore their gifts and talents in a fun and welcoming environment. With arts programs disappearing right and left from schools nationwide, programs like this are desperately needed.

Studies have shown that a child's participation in theater can result in drastically improved academic performance, self-esteem, communication skills and reading comprehension. With CYT Indy, we allow growth in all of these areas paired with a strong faith-based growth that teaches them to value themselves as beautiful creations of God. Our teachers seamlessly blend faith and art in their lessons with our students.

Help a shy child find their voice. Help a hurting child find their faith. Help a lonely child find life-long friends. Help an outcast find acceptance. The list of impacts that CYT has on its students goes on and on. You can be a part a child's journey today.

Donations to this organization will fund programming at CYT Indy, from weekly classes and CYT@School, to summer camps and full-length productions.
