For over 34 years Christmas in the Park has brought together our community to celebrat the holiday season. This free event celebrates family and is a showcase for many non-profits, schools, community groups and businesses that decorate a Christmas tree at our event. Open from the day after Thanksgiving until New Years Day, over 40 animated displays, a 60 foot live tree, a train ride and nightly entertainment welcome guests to what Essential Travel Magazine calls "one of the top ten Christmas displays in the world."

As a non-profit organization, our event is supported by sponsors, grant funding, events and programs and of course corporate and individual donations.

When you visit CITP expect to see much more than lights. Our Victorian Village, 12 Days of Christmas and Candy Cane Lane are all a site to see and enjoy. Our environmental alley educates the public on proper recycling during the season and our newly rennovated information booth celebrates our history. School field trips, arts & crafts and an energy saving scavenger hunt provide fun activities for kids during the event. Nightly entertainment features local schools, dance troops, choirs and other musicians and entertainers. Our Santa booth provides an absolutely free opportunity for kids of all ages to meet with Santa and pose for a picture.

Special events, like our tree lighting, dog day and even Star Wars Day, along with our toy drives and book drive round out the way that we give back to the community.
