Chrysalis Womens Transitional Living Inc

A chrysalis is a cocoon where transformation takes place – where a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in the coming year to meet the needs of the increasing number of women coming out of prison and addiction.  Creating lasting change in their lives reduces recidivism, and also creates positive impacts in their families and our community. Every donation towards this goal is important, whether big or small, it will be very much appreciated and put to good work.  

Since 2001, Chrysalis has provided a safe home and a faith based program for women in addiction recovery - many who have also been incarcerated as a result of their addictive behavior. We have helped hundreds of women transition back into the community with a firm foundation that will sustain them as they move forward in life, free them from the bondage of addictions. 

Our mission is to help these women create a new life – to make significant and lasting lifestyle changes grounded in integrity and purpose. The pillars of the Chrysalis program are safety, structure, accountability and integrity. God is our foundation, and the women learn about His true character, His love for us, and how to have a healthy relationship with Him. 

We have exciting plans to expand our capacity so we can increase the number of women we serve, and increase the scope of our program.  This will include a new facility that will allow us to consolidate housing, office and program space into one building with additional room for classes such as technology and art therapy.  Eventually we will also open an art/boutique where the women’s art creations will be sold and the proceeds used to help fund the program.  In order to fulfill these plans, we need donors who have a heart for this ministry to provide financial support – would YOU be willing to partner with us financially to make the Chrysalis women's dream of a new life come true?
