Church of the Ascension Episcopal

Ascension Episcopal Church has been welcoming people through its doors since the first services in 1905.  In 2003, Ascension moved from a location on Blue Lakes Boulevard to a new location on Eastland Drive North.  Now known as the Church on the Soccer Fields, Ascension continues its many ministries to the community: a Community Garden offers almost 40 plots to members of the community; an outdoor Labyrinth and garden is open to the public for meditative walking;  Neighbors in Need provides food boxes and limited financial assistance to families in need through social service agencies in the community; Knit-Us-Together provides hats, blankets and scarves to the hospital and to seamen throughout the world; the surrounding fields and playground are a joint venture with the Twin Falls Recreation Department for soccer games as well as family recreation.
