Learning is Fun at the Cincinnati Zoo!

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the leading non-formal science educator in southern Ohio, reaching over 350,000 children and educators each year; maintaining Zoo Academy, a full-time public high school on Zoo grounds for underserved students; collaborating with local universities and every school district in the tri-state; and annually providing 12,000 students and their teachers with free field trips through Living Classroom Education Access Fund (LCEAF). Learn more about LCEAF:

Since we opened our gates to the public in 1875, the Cincinnati Zoo has been about educating people of all ages about wildlife and nature. Through the years, our strategies have evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of wildlife, our community, and the planet. Our award-winning education programs are focused on working with students in grades Pre-K through college, like Zoo Troop, Zoo Field Trips, and Zoo Camps! We believe that the Cincinnati Zoo is a place every child in the Greater Cincinnati area should get to experience, no matter their family’s financial situation. So, we provide students and their teachers with free field trips through our Living Classroom Education Access Fund.

Your gift means more children will experience fun and adventure at the Zoo!
