Cindy Terry Outreach Inc

My name is Cindy Terry, Founder and Executive Director of Cindy Terry Outreach. I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 6 years and a Paralegal for over 10 years. My hometown is Henderson, Ky. The things that I have experienced and have seen in dealing with people and my own spiritual direction is what led me to start my outreach organization. I have seen the struggles that families go through in coping with a sick, disabled or elderly family member. The expenses that insurance or medicare does not cover...that famous "donut hole" that can cripple a family financially because needed expenses now come directly out of pocket. I have seen small business owners dreading the next payroll because they are waiting on invoices to be paid so they can stay afloat. I hear people stating how badly they want to go back to school but lack the resources to make a better life for their families and themselves. All I want to do is help. I thank God everyday that I am in a position to help. When I first got the idea to start my outreach program I researched what I needed to do and immediately dropped the idea because it was so much to do and I didn't believe I could do it, but I felt like I was being pulled to do it. I wanted it too much to be intimidated by the process. I believed then and I believe now that I will have a successful outreach program and Bible Study because first, my heart is turned towards God. That is the main reason I believe things just fell into place. It took a year to become an IRS approved non-profit organization. The goal for the organization is to be international and help anyone, anywhere.  I am ready to commit myself to making a successful outreach program for people in need of spiritual guidance, food, clothing, medical assistance, scholarships and small business assistance.
