Circle of Arms

Circle of Arms is a veteran-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Antonio, Texas, committed to improving the lives of veterans, military-connected families, women, and underserved individuals through innovative, community-centered programs. Founded in 2019 by Air Force veteran Larissa Martinez, Circle of Arms was created to bridge critical gaps in services that often prevent individuals from accessing the care and support they deserve.

Rather than asking people to navigate complex systems alone, we meet them where they are building trust, providing personalized support, and connecting them to resources through warm handoffs and ongoing follow-up. Our work focuses on mental wellness, Military Sexual Trauma (MST) advocacy, peer support, transportation and medical escort services, food insecurity, housing stabilization, community outreach, and creating meaningful experiences that foster healing, connection, and belonging.

At Circle of Arms, we believe that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. Through collaboration, compassion, and advocacy, we are building stronger communities where individuals are seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.

Circle of Arms provides a variety of supportive services, including:

• Food pantry and essential needs assistance
• Housing stabilization and supportive services
• Door-through-door transportation and medical escort services (COA PEERS/COA Transport)

• Volunteer and community engagement opportunities
