Circle of Concern

Circle of Concern has been a resource in the community since 1967, offering relief for families living in west St. Louis County and parts of Jefferson County. Our goal is to alleviate hunger and offer support for anyone experiencing hardships. 

The food pantry is our core program and provides a large, consistent array of foods for families with choice, nutrition, and respect. 

But feeding families is just the beginning; our unique approach starts with a cart full of groceries and continues until clients are back on their feet. We are more than just a food pantry. Circle of Concern offers wrap-around services like emergency financial assistance, children's programs, student scholarships, counseling, career mentorship, and more. 

When you give, you connect a family to critical social services, help a worried mom provide dinner for her kids, and give a senior citizen peace of mind, knowing they don't have to skip meals to afford medication.

We serve about 700 families each month and with every client interaction, we find the opportunity to reach out with a helping hand, listen and work together to build a partnership so clients have the opportunity to move from struggle to stability. 

In these difficult situations, there are glimmers of hope – and you are one of them. Every loaf of bread, every can of soup, every box of cereal – is more than just food; it’s a message to someone that they are not alone, that their community cares. Thank you for standing beside us.
