Citizens Against Violence, Inc.

Citizens Against Violence, Inc. is a non-profit domestic violence agency located in Statesboro, Georgia.  We proudly serve the rural counties of Bulloch, Candler, Effingham, Jenkins, Screven, and Washington. 

Our mission is to serve, strengthen, and support victims and children of domestic violence through the provision of emergency and community-based services.  We are dedicated to ending the cycle of family violence through prevention and education programs.  We also offer emergency shelter, legal advocacy, housing assistance, outreach services, and community education programs to victims, or those at-risk of domestic violence.  

As Giving Tuesday approaches on May 5th, we want to remind you that domestic violence doesn't stop during a crisis.  In fact, times of uncertainty and high stress can often exacerbate an already abusive situation.  We want you to know that we are still here and will continue to provide services and support victims of domestic violence in our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
