Civic Arts Development Corporation

Civic Arts Development Corporation (CADC) intentionally creates beneficial change in our region and beyond through activities of Cultural Stewardship, Arts Campaigns, and Community Education. Early in 2020, three Artist-Developers gathered to plan for a mindful, inclusive world heritage museum in North St. Louis. An interdisciplinary vision emerged of revitalization and reunion in our city through cultural holism and Arts & Science education. We are building our capacity as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Community Development Corporation in the historic Hyde Park Neighborhood of St. Louis and we already engage our mission through contributing to local projects such as The Musaeum Library (musaeumlibrary.dev) and The North St. Louis Mindfulness Project (nstlmp.com).

We are a 7 Generation, multicultural organization with perspectives that enable long term, impactful, sustainable nonprofit, 501(c)(3) activities which are beneficial to the community while rooted in mindful remembrance of those who have gone before us. Our community is intergenerational, friendly, inclusive, and accessible. Together, mindfully, we build our local community day by day.  Together, we create the vibrant culture and network of caring people invested in the ongoing, fundamental wellbeing of the people and our planet in the St. Louis, Cahokian region.

CADC brings important cultural perspectives to community and real estate development while uplifting social, Civic Arts fundamentals of holism, sustainability, antiracism, and the Beaux Arts & Sciences. Board Officers of the organization are members of the Neighborhood Leadership Fellowship and Academy cohorts in St. Louis, Missouri. We embrace hybrid business concepts like cooperative decision making, cross-area collaboration, and shared resource planning.
