Clayton County Community Services Authority, Inc. has provided a helping hand to citizens in need. Under the leadership of Executive Director, Dr. Rhonda G. Kindred, the board of directors, policy council and staff continue to be motivated and focused on the mission and purpose of this agency.

Clayton County Community Services Authority, Inc. is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) Community Action Agency that is funded for the delivery of human services and provides assistance  to eligible citizens in the Clayton, Henry and Fayette County areas. The agency can be described as an umbrella agency that is multi-faceted and delivers many relevant services and activities.

The purpose of the agency is to develop and implement projects and activities that are at no cost or very little cost for low income citizens, the physically challenged, and the elderly. The agency has implemented and delivered programs and projects for these service areas since its inception in 1965. It is supported and financed by funds provided to the agency through federal, state and local government, and other agencies and charitable organizations.

Clayton County Community Services Authority, Inc. is committed to the amelioration of poverty and the conditions and circumstances of people in Clayton County and the surrounding areas. The agency advocates for the disenfranchised and provides for the delivery of essential services through structured programs designed to improve the quality of life, leads to self-sufficiency, and responsible community involvement among its citizens.
