Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; environmental education; research; and conservation. CMA staff and volunteers work each day to rescue marine life and provide the most advanced and effective care to maximize the opportunity to return sick or injured animals to their homes. CMA's Sea Turtle Conservation program has a dual mission of releasing injured or sick turtles back into the wild, while ensuring as many hatchlings as possible survive, in order to help save these species from extinction. Donate to Clearwater Marine Aquarium and help our team be equipped to patrol the beaches for sea turtle nests. Sea turtle nesting begins May 1st and the team is in need of high-powered radios, stakes and other supplies to mark nests, and funds in order for maintenance on the ATV's used for patrolling.
