Keep Playing Cleveland (KPC) was started by John Carroll University graduate students in 2013 with hopes of improving the physical fitness resources for Greater Cleveland youth centers, recreation centers, schools and any other organizations that work with economically disadvantaged youth.

KPC has four major goals for the equipment:

1) For structured physical fitness activities that teach Cleveland youth life skills by interacting with positive adults and peers
2) To expose youth to new physical fitness activities
3) Will reduce gender inequality in Greater Cleveland Athletics
4) Keep kids active

KPC will collect equipment on our April 5th Kick-off Equipment Drive.  We will spread out across Cuyahoga County to collect used equipment and bring it to distribution site to clean and repackage for youth organizations to pick up.

KPC will also set up seasonal collection sites throughout the county and beyond to continue to collect equipment.

Along with providing equipment, KPC will work to find volunteers and Sports Based Youth Development training for their staff members in order to maximize the impact on their youth. For any questions, comments or offer support please email info@keepplayingcleveland.org
