We empower individuals to discover their unique contribution for these urgent times and steward a diverse community of visionaries and activists. Climate Change & Consciousness is rooted in heart-centered climate action and addressing climate crisis through the lens of expanding consciousness.

Mission

Climate Change and Consciousness (CCC) stewards a global network of diverse populations to accelerate regenerative responses to the climate crisis. Through education, mentor-ship, leadership development, supporting indigenous projects, and cultivating an international community of skilled activists, CCC is a nexus of inner transformation and socially responsible, high-impact climate activism. 

By connecting the transformation of consciousness with practical and collaborative initiatives, CCC offers an essential response to the roots of our planetary emergency. 

Goals

In spite of evidence decades ago, we now are facing a limited time to change course significantly and to prepare for destruction that cannot be avoided. Clearly, we are being called to accelerate high-impact action and to connect and extend the initiatives and creativity that abound on every continent. As a result, we see an abiding hope in the rapidly growing number of people who link consciousness of the Earth as a single living system with the urgency of action at all scales. We embody that hope by stewarding a global climate-conscious community leading the way in accelerating bold action in the following ways: 

In this start-up phase we will:

01. Connect like-minded people

By defining ways to deepen connections within a motivated global community, to learn from and support each other, and to take actions faster than otherwise possible.

02. Organize Groundswell: Co-Creative Climate Activism

An innovative, online presence linked with personal coaches to show how to create and lead hubs at local, national and global levels.

03. Create a Community Talent Exchange

Of those wanting to share their talents (e.g., writing, art, technology consulting,  dream circles, open mics, community building) and those needing them. 

04. Support Climate-Conscious Change Initiatives

Initiatives emerging from the CCC19 Conference that are developing momentum through the ongoing support of Climate Change & Consciousness such as the Walking The Land Projects. 

The Vision

We are networked connectors seeking many pathways - both digital and face-to-face - to catalyze high-impact action at scale to address the climate emergency. 

The CCC community fosters a space essential voices, such as indigenous, youth, women, and diverse populations as we clarify the inner work needed for transformation and to cultivate an outward-facing, loving support network. We seek partners to tap the wisdom and connections available in other networks to move toward power with each other and the web of life. 

The theory of change reflected by CCC is based on the following assumptions: 

Consciousness derives from direct experience and reflection, and is not in itself enough. 

Digital tools and platforms help close the gap between consciousness and action. 

Connectivity to and through each other is core to building a supportive community. 

Whole systems contain all they need to be healthy. 

We are all intertwined as both learners and educators. 

A spirit of experimentation and agile prototyping generates better results faster.
