Coal City United Methodist Church

The mission of the Coal City United Methodist Church is to be a sanctuary where prayer, worship, acts of mercy and study of scripture empower persons to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are a vibrant, multi-generaltional family of believers dedicated to transforming the world through Jesus Christ. We know that through prayer, worship, acts of mercy, and study of scripture we are able to grow together into disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our church family meets together weekly at 8:00am and at 10:30am for worship. Sunday School is from 9:00am-10:00am for ages K-adult. Also on Sunday mornings, join us for a cup of coffee and a treat on the house during fellowship time from 9:00am-10:15am.

We love kids for they are the future of the church. But sometimes they just don’t want to be in worship. For those days, we offer a professionally staffed nursery from 10:00am-11:45am just around the corner from the sanctuary.

The Coal City United Methodist Church has been preparing ourselves for your visit. That is why we have ample parking around our church, Christian Education Wing, and community building. We even have reserved parking places just to the left of our main doors - right up front waiting for you. So be sure to come and join in the experience at the Coal City United Methodist Church.
