COAST Transportation - Council on Aging & Human Services

COAST Transportation gives Idahoans freedom to live where they want and still have access to the things they need for quality of life.

As the transportation program of the Council on Aging & Human Services, a nonprofit social service agency located in rural eastern Washington near the Washington-Idaho border, COAST provides demand response public and specialized transportation services to elderly Idahoans and individuals with special needs in Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce counties.

COAST operates with both paid and volunteer drivers providing curb to curb service, and often covering trips of very large distances in rural Idaho and Washington, such as a one-way, 120 mile trip between Lewiston and Spokane.
