CCWR is a local true nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center that is Federally and NC  State permitted to except injured and orphaned Birds, Mammals, Rabies Vector Species, Reptiles andWhitetailFawns. CCWR Is one  of the  few centers in this region  that has  ability to do  handle  this  kind of work load!
CCWR has been around for awhile, when I was working at Needhams, Banfield Pet Hospital, WAETH or a few other Animal Hospitals unofficially late 90’s! CCWR became official in 2009.
We have great group friends that feel like family that we work well together and  in it for the animals not fame or glory!  The animals need us and we need Y’all to donate (any amount)  so we can work  together  for the animals!   The smallest amount will help, trust me I know  personally how hard this year has been for all  us with the pandemic! We lost 2 of biggest sponsors because of it but that didn’t stop the babies, injured and orphaned animals from coming in care!!

CCWR is a smaller center that’s limits the number of internships and volunteers for the safety and well-being are the wildlife under our care . Also we are closed to the public for tours  or visiting hours , so we are very dependent on your donations to our doors for open for the  wildlife in need of care and treatment  no matter length of time or care needed!
CCWR works well with the Rescues in our area  and thought out our State. So you’re helping a lot animals recover from most  likely the worst day of their life and giving them a second chance for a wonderful future!

CCWR is only able to do this  for the wildlife because of the caring and generous devoted supporters of CCWR! In fact numbers  don’t lie and here’s 2019                       Birds :           232       Grey Squirrels:    163        Possums:  17         Flying Squirrels:     04        Bunnies:    109            Field Mice :            29.       Rats:              17                                                          Whitetail Fawns:    09      (Connie’s)     26            {CCWR  helps Connie with fawn formula and  food she is our release point & the only primary fawn rehabilitation person in SE NC.                                  ( covers 13 Countries)}!!                                             Eastern Box Turtles :              11                                 Diamondback Terrapins :     04                                       Musk Turtles:                              02                                         Snapping  Turtles:                     03                                      Spotted Turtle:                           01                         Yellow Belly Sliders:                06

Green tree frogs:                       02

In 2020   CCWR added Rabies Vector Species to the list of permits we hold and the animals that we  can help now!! We need your help to continue our wildlife rehabilitation mission! No matter the  amount of the  donation will help us!  There is formula,  bottles, nipples,  Insurance and so much more!  I try not to ask to many times    each year for money!  We keep over head low so we can do more!

Thank you very much for caring and helping our wildlife rehabilitation center!  Y’all help make CCWR great 😊 and we are very Grateful for that!                                                             Everyone at  CCWR and the critters past, present and for generations to come!
