For 31 years Coastlands has been helping students in Christian schools connect more deeply with God, adults, and each other.  Believing that mentoring helps bridge the spiritual gap between students’ heads and hearts, our team partners with Christian school educators to transform students through interactive and challenging chapels and intentional mentoring relationships.

Spiritual emphasis weeks and retreats enable us to reach every student in a school, and long-term relationships are built as Coastlands returns to most of the same schools year after year.  Some mentoring relationships continue throughout the year, and some even continue beyond high school graduation.  The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 2:8, "Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."  Following this model, Coastlands is more than a speaking ministry - we are a mentoring ministry.

Christian school students are not immune from pornography addiction, depression and self-harm, family breakdown, bullying and many other issues often found in public schools. The Christian school setting in which Coastlands serves allows our teams to biblically address root issues in the context of caring relationships, leading to both inward and outward transformation of students. Furthermore, Coastlands mentors encourage and challenge spiritually healthy students to lead boldly and sacrificially in their spheres of influence.
