Motivated by Christian faith, COBYS Family Services educates, supports and empowers children and adults to reach their full potential. 

When compassionate care meets empathy and generosity, there truly is hope for a brighter future. COBYS is a non-profit human services agency, providing for physical safety as well as the mental and emotional well-being of children, adults and families. The unfortunate reality is that without a support system, some families struggle. Breaks occur and children and families in Lancaster County and the surrounding area become at risk. This is where COBYS steps in, providing foster care and adoption related services as well as counseling and family life education.  

The work of COBYS Family Services is serious. 
It is challenging. 
It is sometimes messy. 
It is often heartbreaking. 
But it is necessary. 
And honorable. 
And life-altering.  

Our expert staff come along side children and adults at unsettling and often chaotic times in their lives. At COBYS Family Services, we work to provide our clients with as much stability as possible, protecting children with a servant heart and doing everything we can to provide a more stable, hopeful future for them and the families and individuals we serve. 

Our personal care goes beyond the bare-bones services that state and county funding can cover, and that is where our dedicated donors like you come in.
