Oldies but Goodies Cocker Rescue Inc

Established in 1996, Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue (OBG) rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes cockers and spaniel mixes of all ages. Placing more than 300 dogs a year, we are committed to finding wonderful homes for dogs from shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them.

The group's founder decided upon the name, Oldies But Goodies, not because of the ages of the dogs, but because she saw dogs being tossed aside like an old, worn pair of shoes.

While we do not have a "shelter" facility in the typical sense, we have a network of loving foster homes throughout DC, MD and VA.  These volunteers help prepare the dogs - physically and mentally - for finding their forever homes.

OBG is an all-volunteer non-profit so we rely on your support to help pay for the costs of the medical care and rehabilitation of our dogs.  Your donations to OBG are tax-deductible to the extent of the law, and 100% of the funds go to the care of our dogs.
