We are a nonprofit rescue group dedicated to finding permanent homes for homeless animals, primarily dogs. We do not operate out of a shelter, instead we rely on our network of foster homes to care for our animals until they are adopted.

Shelters reach out to private rescues to take their emotional and medical needs animals as they don't have the capacity to care for them.  This creates more costly vet bills than an adoption fee would ever cover.  They too, deserve a second chance in this life.  This is in great part why public donations and support are so vital to keep us afloat and help give those souls an opportunity for a bright future ahead.

We have several dogs that will never be adoptable as they came from hoarders and don't enjoy human handling.  They don't bite and do well with other dogs, so we choose to allow them to live out their lives with us.  Then we have a few that are still not adopted years after we've taken them in.  All of these dogs still need food, medical and all the necessities like the adoptable dogs do but for life.

Our goal and hope is that every homeless animal we take into our rescue will be a perfect match with and then join a wonderful new home and family.

Each year countless animals in this country are euthanized and they are not just the mean, old, ugly or certain breeds of dogs either! Pure bred dogs, Mama's and their whole litter of puppies, the fluffies and scruffies as well, fall victim of shelter euthanasia. Some areas are just awful while others are doing great work to prevent this from happening to healthy adoptable animals. Shelter management and their surrounding community have a lot to do with the differences between a high euthanasia rate or a no/low euthanasia rate.
The future numbers are up to all of us!
