Collateral Repair Project

Collateral Repair Project is a grassroots effort initiated in 2007 to aid Iraqi refugees - mostly in Jordan where an estimated 150,000 had initially sought refuge.

In 2012, we broadened our mission to include other innocent victims of war and conflict so that we can bring vital assistance to Syrian refugees who are now fleeing from the horrendous violence in their country. 

Since we arrived in Jordan in 2007 we have provided for refugees' basic needs such as food, shelter, blankets, milk and warm coats for children.

We helped countless Iraqi refugees by giving them what they needed to set up small cottage industries to help support their families.

HOPE WORKSHOP is our refugee women's craft co-op who make products from recycled materials, giving them means to provide needed income.

We have a Family Resource & Community Center which offers refugees classes and social activities, a library, computer cafe, sewing room and distribution of second-hand clothing and household items. Our center is a place of solace, learning and fun for the refugee community in Amman, Jordan. 

In our current Emergency Assistance program, we are focusing on providing food for hungry families and individuals - rescuing them from hunger. We do this through providing them with Food Vouchers which they can exchange for food at local markets and produce shops, assuring they get their nutritional needs met as well as giving them "choice", something that refugees rarely enjoy. 

We also provide other types of Emergency Assistance for the most vulnerable and impoverished - such as warm blankets, heaters, and for other critical basic needs. 

Through these efforts to repair some of the damage caused by war and conflict, we hope to foster peace and reconciliation. We do this in your name. Please join us.
