College of the Desert Foundation

For more than 30 years, College of the Desert Foundation's goals have remained the same: 

• Support student success at College of the Desert by helping students overcome the financial barriers that may keep them from achieving their educational dreams.
• Support program and technology development and advancement to ensure our students have access to the best facilities, faculty and equipment.

 

More than 10,000 students enroll in the College each year. Even after all financial aid is considered, roughly half struggle to meet their financial needs. Many are working full- or part-time while attending school. Most are the first in their family to pursue higher education.

Last year the COD Foundation provided 600 scholarships to local students and over $1 million in additional support to the College. But more help is needed.
