Colorado Aviation Historical Society

Aviation and spaceflight have had a profound impact on Colorado’s past and will continue to shape the future. Our organization was founded in 1966 to preserve historic artifacts of Colorado's aviation history, record the story of these exciting endeavors, and honor the people who contributed to their success.

The Society’s artifacts and interpretive exhibits can be viewed at Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver and at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum.

Membership is open to all who have an interest in general, commercial, or military aviation. Our archives are available to authors and historians. CAHS publishes "From Balloons to Ballistics", a quarterly journal. Past issues of the journal are accessible on our organization's website, coahs.org.
