Combined Arms

Founded by veterans for veterans in Houston, TX in 2015, Combined Arms (CAX) delivers innovative technology solutions that improve quality of life for veterans & military families.

CAX streamlines the connection between (1) active service members, veterans, and their families (SMVF), and other military-connected individuals, and (2) the social service organizations that can serve their needs. Through our community resource referral system, clients find needed resources and connect quickly and directly to service providers to get assistance to thrive professionally and personally in the areas of community, wellness, professional support, and essential services. In addition to our technology platform, we use information gathered in real-time at the local, regional, and state-wide levels to develop and implement in-person events and to provide resources for the veteran community at our CAX Transition Center in Houston and at locations throughout Texas. Through CAX, we can connect clients to over 900 social service resources through 200+ Member Organizations. Among our Member Organizations, 41 can provide resources nationally.

CAX has enhanced this data-driven approach by cultivating a culture of quick adaptation and a “meet the client where they are” mentality to unite clients with their community and ensure efficient access to the resources and social services needed. Our enforced, network-wide accountability requires Member Organizations to respond to clients’ requests for services within 72 hours. The result of this effort has far exceeded this minimum, with a reduction in response time from an average of 109 hours to 30 hours (75% improvement in response time) across our growing nationwide network.
