The COMMIT model brings individual and sustained attention to each participating veteran as they move from military service to rewarding and inspiring roles in their chosen careers and communities post-service. The overriding goal is to create opportunities for veterans by fostering mentorship, extending and growing networks, promoting familiar camaraderie, and accelerating veterans into civilian leadership roles.

COMMIT believes that assisting highly skilled and talented veterans as they transition to civilian careers is the most effective way to honor and reinvest the enormously valuable training and experience of these exceptional men and women into the fabric of our Nation.

Veterans who have participated in COMMIT programs continue to report that their trajectory to civilian life was fundamentally changed for the better.

“The COMMIT Foundation has been instrumental in making my upcoming transition a time of opportunity that I look forward to, vice the time of trepidation that many vets experience. My eyes have been opened to a huge spectrum of possibilities of which I was unaware, and I've met great, positive, inspirational people throughout the process.” - Matt

“To say the COMMIT transition workshop I attended in Silicon Valley was transformational would be an understatement. The workshop was everything I had hoped for- well-organized, full of useful content, stocked with private sector mentors who held senior positions in the technology industry, and aggressive on its follow-through. COMMIT enabled me to be successful in my job search and gave me the confidence to make a transition into another meaningful line of work.” - John
