Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama

Each year the Community Foundation awards thousands of dollars to not-for profits to enhance the services they provide.  These enhancements are to educational programs, transportation, healthy initiatives and more.  Through donor generosity we help build a better tomorrow for our communities.  Our geographic footprint covers nine counties which include; Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, DeKalb, Etowah, Randolph, St. Clair and Talladega. 

Through partnerships over recent months, $500,000 has been raised for tornado recovery.  We are currently working with the Long Term Recovery committees in the counties affected to grant funds to rebuild homes and lives. 

During the month of February, the Foundation is partnering with other non-profits and the Federation of Appalachian Housing to examine new opportunities for rural housing within Alabama.
