These are but a few of the scenarios experienced at the Community Furniture Bank. Providing a bed for someone that has been sleeping on the floor is an indescribable experience. Offering peace of mind to an older couple making a downsizing move is equally compelling, as the items we take are provided free of charge to another deserving family.

We simply provide a link between those with unwanted but usable items with those in desperate need of anything. Clients are referred by a case worker, but are given complete freedom to choose items of their liking, moving back into a state of independence after being dependent on others for so long .
