Community Law Program Inc

Community Law Program, Inc. was founded in 1989 by a group of attorney members of the St. Petersburg Bar Association  concerned about the unmet civil legal needs of the poor in our community.

Today, Community Law Program operates a host of programs and services designed to empower the most vulnerable in our community through the provision of pro bono legal assistance and representation, education about legal rights and responsibilities, and community outreach.  CLP's program and services include:

- The operation of 15+ free civil legal advice clinics and educational classes each month

- Individual representation in areas like family law, housing, consumer rights, and criminal records expunction and to young adults formerly in foster care

- The preparation of wills and advance directives for seniors and veterans

- Transactional assistance to qualified non-profit organizations
