ABOUT US

Founded in 1979 out of an abundance of compassion by North Coastal civic and business leaders, Community Resource Center (CRC) provides emergency assistance, compassionate counseling, food and shelter to low-income individuals and families who are experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness, including survivors of domestic violence. 

WHO WE SERVE

Community Resource Center provides services in North County San Diego to vulnerable families and individuals who need food, shelter and resources. Many families and individuals come to CRC in crisis – a mother seeking shelter from domestic violence, a veteran facing homelessness, or a single father struggling to put food on the table. CRC exists to provide care, compassion and expertise to help those in need create paths to a brighter future. 

CRC is the primary provider of social services and domestic violence programs in coastal North County San Diego., serving more than 6,400 individuals each year without regard to race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age or immigration status.
