Community Roots Collective Inc

The Community Roots Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to empower families through education, resources, and love. The Community Roots Collective is a place where families can grow by building community that will support them throughout the budding challenges of raising a family. 

At The Roots, we offer community events, parent workshops, educational training, play groups, craft times, story times, prenatal yoga, mama circles, wellness and more. We also have many services and resources available on a daily basis in house. 

Studies have shown that children need a strong "nest" in order to thrive. A major component to this nest success is maternal and familial support, or "the village" mentality. Humans are social beings and thrive under compassionate and cooperative care. This model is diminishing in our society. Our goal is to provide this environment for children and families to give them the best start.

By providing multi-faceted opportunities and services in one location, our hope is that families are able to come together, forge bonds and friendships, and find community and continued support in one place.
