CTA invites our friends and family to help us support the economic welfare of low-income workers, families and seniors through the accurate and timely filing of tax returns, and by connecting taxpayers to other asset building opportunities. These services are critical to the financial well-being of low-income families because they must file a tax return to obtain tax refunds and key credits, such as the EITC.  And filing timely and accurate tax returns is critical to other asset building opportunities such as qualifying for academic financial aid, obtaining a mortgage, or a small business loan.
