CVA provides services in the following areas: Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, IT, Strategic Planning, Legal, Fund Development and Board Development.
CVA has added an educational curriculum designed to empower nonprofit leadership in business acumen. CVA's service delivery model has developed into coaching, education, and mentoring in the St. Louis nonprofit sector.
CVA provided 2 service scholarships to worthy nonprofits whose budget are so small that they cannot fully afford the needed services last year, and plans to offer 3 this year.
CVA has impacted the 10 nonprofits this past year, and an example of the types of support are seen thru Love Like Jackson: legal support from CVA: LLLJ was mistakenly filed as a private foundation which did not allow for the organization to receive funding from GIVE STL DAY, St.Louis County, etc. Correction from a private foundation designation to a public charity has enabled the LLJ to now receive funds these funds.. CVA's referral to a nonprofit attorney made the change of designation possible. LLJ's had a 3 member board, and with CVA's coaching expanded the board to 6 adding key skill sets: attorney, accountant, healthcare provider.

CVA provided support in the development of HR policies, Board, Staff and Volunteer Human Resource Handbook. CVA also counseled in recruitment of new employees.
