You'N-I is the Youth Network Initiative for youth who are homeless, runaway and/or aging-out foster care.

Much progress has been made in the last 2 1.2 years 

1. RenoYouthNetwork.com - an go-to online directory for youth services
2. 2 Community-wide conversations about the challenges and problems faced by the youth and those who help them.
3. The Homestretch, a powerful feature documentary screened at UNR to an audience of 250+
4. The YOU, a downtown youth drop-in center opened in March 2015 by The Eddy House. They see 150 youth a week.
5. Streetsmart 4 Youth, a restaurant fundraiser held last fall brought the issue of youth homelessness in Reno and Sparks to the attention of restaurant diners throughout the community. It raised more than $14,000 for organizations help homeless youth.
6. NevadaMentoring.org, a matching website will increase the number of mentors in our community connecting with at-risk and homeless children and youth.

You’N-I is a process of convening a wide-range of caring people to have a conversation about existing services for struggling youth, their needs, and ways we can help them have better outcomes. The goal is to involve the entire community in this cause, building stronger connections and helping leverage new resources as we look beyond quick fixes. Together we will identify and support projects focusing on solutions with staying power that can achieve positive long-term results.
