GREAT NEWS! In just 8 hours you helped us meet and exceed the match for purchase of a DEX Hub (software for digital dental X-Rays) for our outreach van.

SO, LET'S GO FOR IT! We received an additional $2,300 to purchase the Platinum Sensor to complete the suite. Let's close out the campaign by raising the $5,646 needed.

In addition to six fixed-site health centers, we serve Reno-Sparks youth and seniors with our mobile dental and medical vans. Most of our young patients have NO dental insurance, but are in dire need of services to arrest and stop oral decay and disease. Our dental road team delivers 5,200 child visits per year!

Presently, what CHA's dental team needs is the ability to take digital X-rays. The new equipment will be faster, less invasive, require less storage than traditional X Rays and save time and money.

Our staff has "test-driven" the equipment. Here is what hygienist Peggy says:

"Now that I have had two weeks of using the equipment, I just want to let you know how amazing it is for all ages. It takes crystal clear pictures. Because the technology is made for large format for the computer screen, I can use them for patient/parent education. The immediacy and better quality helps our patients have a fuller understanding of their issues.

"The amount of time we will save is wonderful in addition to being able to refer to the images easily at each succeeding visit."
